Web Standards Compliance

Every page on this site adheres to W3C standards for valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. The pages have also been designed to provide cross-browser compatibility and minimise differences in display between browsers.

Alternative Text, Images and Fonts

All key images have alternative text assigned to them to give meaning to content, should the images not load. Where an image is used in replacement of text, the text is still present, so that screen readers can bring understanding to the page. All text sizes are specified in percentages to allow users to alter font sizes proportionately, without breaking the page.

Flash Content

All Flash content has been included in keeping with the W3C web standards and validates as XHTML 1.0 strict. Should the user have difficulty viewing the content, replacement text is present and links to download Flash player provided.

Access Keys

These keys are accessible with ALT+ accesskey on a PC, or CTRL+ accesskey on a Macintosh and allow navigation to main areas of the site.
